Hi, we’re Sruthi Menon & Satkrit Krishna – the duo who brought The Dress Shop to life.

When we started The Dress Shop, we weren’t just dreaming about dresses—we were dreaming about moments. The kind that stay with you forever. Moments where you feel truly seen, celebrated, and stunning in something that feels made just for you.

As a designer duo, we come from two very different but complementary worlds—Sruthi brings her love for bridal styling, storytelling, and bold elegance, while Satkrit brings in the finesse of structure, detail, and timeless design. Together, we’ve created a space where fashion meets feeling.

What began as a shared love for design soon turned into something deeper—a space where brides (and their families!) could find more than just outfits. They could find their story, woven into every stitch.

At The Dress Shop, we make it personal. Whether you’re walking in for your wedding gown, reception lehenga, or a gown for your bridesmaid or mom—we sit down with you, listen, and design something that’s uniquely you. Every silhouette is made with intention, love, and a deep understanding of what that moment means to you.

And it doesn’t stop at clothes—we help you with everything from styling, makeup, and hair, to saree draping, couple shoots, goodie bags, and curated gift hampers. We’ve built this full-circle experience so you can focus on the joy while we take care of the magic.
